The Purchase Process

ENQUIRY & INFORMATION

If there is a property or properties that you would like to get more information on, simply contact the Highlife Sales team. 

We will then send you an information pack and answer any specific questions that you may have.  The information pack may include:

  • Floor plans
  • A design vision or finishes schedule
  • Body corporate fees
  • A rental appraisal

 You are also welcome to book an appointment to come into the Highlife Office in Burleigh Heads, to see the finishes and discuss the homes further. 

If you would like to see the level of quality in a Highlife Home first hand, we can also arrange for a walk through of a completed project.

LETTER OF OFFER & CONTRACT

Once you have decided the Highlife home for you, one of our agents will provide you with an Expresison of Interest or Letter of Offer form to submit your purchase offer.

Once we have your offer, we will take this to the developer. On agreement, a contract of sale will be prepared. This can take 5 business days to reach your conveyancer. You are under no obliation until this contract is executed.

Upon signing, a 5% or 10% deposit is due (depending on the project) and this is placed into a trust account until settlement.  Now you can sit back and relax while you watch your beautiful new home take shape!

    MONTHLY Updates

    We like to keep all purchasers well informed throughout the process so you will receive monthly email updates throughout construction. We will let you know how construction is progressing, including photos, regular updates on the completion date, and any other relevant information. Of course during this time, you can also contact us should you have any questions we can assist with.

      Settlement & Handover

      When the build is complete and the titles are registered, we will contact you to organise a date for settlement and handover.  This date is when the balance of your purchase amount is due in full and you will be ready to take ownership of your beautiful new home.

      We will arrange handover with you on this day, which will include giving you everything you need for your new home, including keys, remotes and warranty/care information.  You will also be informed regarding your council bins, transfer of electricity, NBN and solar (if applicable).

      Once settled, you are ready to move in and make the home your very own 🙂

        Warranty

        Being a brand new home in Queensland, the standard warranty for non-structural  months. Highlife Homes however offers 12 months for genuine non-structural defects.

        For structural, the warranty is 6.5 years from the date (whichever is earlier):

        • the premium is paid
          a contract is entered, or
          work is commenced

        Any warranty requests should be sent to  build@highlifehomes.com.au  and the client manager and maintenance manager will be able to assist you.
